We have two kinds of mare care here at the farm, Dry and Wet. The main difference between the two is the feed they receive. Your mare will be stalled while she is with us and will be turned out for exercise at least three times a week, weather permitting. The mares are turned out by themselves, unless you have multiple mares that are used to being out with each other. If you have a mare that can't be stalled for some reason, please let us know ahead of time and we will make other arrangements for her.

Dry - $6.50 a day:

This type of mare care is for maiden and open mares. They are fed a Progressive Nutrition Diet Balancer to compliment our grass hay in addition to oats. We supply each mare with free choice loose minerals as well.

Wet - $8.50 a day:

This type of mare care is for mares about to foal here on the farm or mares with foals by their side. They are fed a Progressive Nutrition Diet Balancer to compliment our alfalfa/grass hay in addition to oats. A fat suppliment is added to give these mares the extra they need to support their foals. We supply each mare with free choice loose minerals as well.
